Olympic Games Paris 2024 - Basketball
Molten Corporation, manufacturer of high-quality sports equipment, has launched the official basketballs for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a competition that will take place between July 24 (Wednesday) and August 11 (Sunday) 2024 in Paris. The balls are developed by Molten under license from the International Olympic Committee and will be sold globally. It will be the first time that Molten will sell official Olympic match balls with the Olympic logo.
The basketball game ball was designed based on the BG5000 model. This model was used for the first time in 2019 and since then it has been used in all international matches organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). It has an exclusive design with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games logo and sports icon.
Official match ball for the first time
The central element of the exclusive design of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are the Olympic rings, which can be seen for the first time on the official match ball. The design is completed by the official icon of the basketball game, the period of the tournament and the official name in French.
Unmistakable design
The official ball of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is also produced in the typical Molten 12-panel design. Orange/ivory colors form the basic colors, which are complemented by design elements. The composite grooves distributed on the surface are responsible for an unmistakable control of the ball.
Officially licensed product
Through the license agreement between the IOC and Molten, the official match ball is part of the official collection of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The collection aims to bring fans together, unite them in order to celebrate each subsequent edition of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and through the official articles.
