Molten Corporation (Headquarters: Nishi-ku, Hiroshima City, Japan; President and CEO: Kiyo Tamiaki) will supply the official game ball with a limited-edition design for FIBA EuroBasket 2025, set to be co-hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Poland, and Latvia from August 27 to September 14, 2025. Sales of the official game ball and a replica model will begin at sporting goods retailers in select markets, starting ahead of the tournament.
The official game ball is based on the BG5000 model, which has been used in FIBA competitions since August 2019. Designed and developed in collaboration by Molten and FIBA, the official ball features a unique design inspired by the official tournament slogan, “Make Your Mark.” This concept reflects the hope that the tournament will become an unforgettable event, etched in the hearts of players, host countries, and basketball fans, creating moments that will be remembered forever.
Molten will continue to develop and supply products of outstanding function and design that bring out various feelings from sports for everyone involved in sports, and work to fulfill the brand promise of "feel the emotion."
The key element, inspired by a fingerprint symbolizing the design concept MAKE YOUR MARK, represents the mark each player leaves on the tournament. Ten different basketball-related icons, such as shoes, balls, hoops, whistles, fan gear, and team buses, are represented as 3D elements, capturing the energy and passion of the players' performance, as well as the excitement and enjoyment of the fans. Additionally, some design elements are accented with gold foil, emphasizing beauty and creating a striking visual impact.
In the replica model B7G2000-E5Z, this concept is expressed in full colors. The base colors are inspired from the tournament's brand colors, blue and pink, while the tournament logo takes center stage on the front. “Make Your Mark” slogan logo is adorned on the back, complimented by bold fingerprint-pattern designs featured prominently on the top and bottom.

New surface texture helps give an ideal grip even in contact with sweat or moisture. Branded logos also give a tackier grip than transfer printing method used in prior model. Printed proportion was reduced by 25% which also contributed to giving a better grip

Foam concentration increased by 35% and EVA foam backing layer has been newly applied, making the ball softer and easier to control.

BG5000 takes full advantage of the natural leather properties to ensure better texture.
All lettering design on the BG5000 is branded into the ball to offer an authentic look to the natural leather basketball.
