The Molten BG3850 and BGMX series are premium Indoor/Outdoor basketballs, particularly recommended for well-maintained basketball courts. These models provide excellent grip, superior ball control, and outstanding durability. For frequent play on asphalt and concrete, the Molten BD3500 series is an ideal choice thanks to its robust construction and enhanced wear resistance. For schools, public playgrounds, and highly abrasive surfaces, Molten rubber basketballs offer the highest level of durability and long-lasting performance.

Which Molten basketball is best for asphalt courts?
For asphalt courts, we primarily recommend Molten rubber basketballs, as they provide the highest level of abrasion resistance and the longest lifespan on hard outdoor surfaces.
- Molten BG2000 – one of the best choices for schools, public playgrounds, and intensive use on asphalt or concrete. It offers an excellent balance between durability and value.
- Molten BR Series – durable rubber basketballs specifically designed for outdoor play and highly abrasive surfaces.
- Molten BD3500 – recommended for players looking for a better playing feel than traditional rubber basketballs. Its construction provides improved grip and ball control while maintaining excellent durability on asphalt and concrete courts.
For well-maintained outdoor basketball courts with acrylic, tartan, polyurethane, or similar sports surfaces, we recommend the Molten BG3850 and Molten BGMX series. These models deliver superior performance and ball handling but are not as resistant to wear on rough asphalt as the BG2000, BR, or BD3500 series.
