After years of research and development, Molten created the first handball designed according to the official IHF “Handballs played without Resin” technical requirements introduced in 2019.

The D60 PRO is intended for indoor competitions and training sessions in sports halls where resin use is prohibited. Its innovative premium absorbent PU surface delivers exceptional grip even when players’ hands become sweaty, reducing slipperiness and improving ball control without the need for resin.

The advanced FREE RESIN technology uses a highly absorbent outer material that develops maximum grip when hands become slightly moist. Compared to standard handballs, the D60 PRO provides significantly improved control and handling thanks to the combination of the soft sponge-like surface, cushioned construction, and unique 60-triangle panel design.

The soft inner layer allows the fingertips to sink deeper into the ball surface, increasing the contact area between the hand and the ball. This construction creates superior grip, more precise passing, and improved shooting control. The thermally bonded panel construction creates a perfectly uniform surface while improving durability and overall game performance.

Manufactured according to official IHF FREE RESIN standards, the D60 PRO features optimized circumference and weight specifications specifically adapted for resin-free handball. The D60 PRO was selected as the official match ball for the IHF U18 World Championship and represents one of the most advanced handballs developed by Molten.
