A Molten handball for you
There is a good chance that, in recent years, you have played with a Molten handball. The brand has grown steadily, and Molten balls have become essential on the handball court. They stand out through modern colour combinations and a sporty design.
Molten handballs for beginners and advanced players
Molten offers models for every level. The range includes official match balls as well as training balls. Training models are designed for many hours of use and for optimal ball control. Competition models are suitable for both official matches and training. Most Molten handballs are IHF-approved, meaning they meet four key criteria: circumference, roundness, weight and bounce quality. These checks confirm the high quality of Molten balls. Molten is also the official partner of the Handball World Championships, supplying balls for all tournament matches.
Molten C7 Handball
One of the most popular models is the Molten C7, created for juniors to help them improve their technique. With this ball, players can develop technical skills and apply them more easily during matches. The rubber surface offers good grip and ensures easy control. The panels include small channels that prevent air bubbles and increase durability. If the ball becomes slightly soft after use, it can be quickly brought back to the correct pressure with any pump from our range.

Grip and control
Molten uses soft PU leather and textured surfaces with dimples and deep channels for secure grip, with or without resin.
Resin-free technology
Models such as the D60 Pro offer grip and feel similar to resin, without leaving residue. They are ideal for halls where resin is prohibited and for players learning technique.
Support for training and juniors
Series such as C7 and sizes 00 and 0 are designed for children and beginners, making catching and throwing easier.
Durable construction and modern design
The balls are machine-stitched, retain their shape and feature highly visible, durable colours.

Choose the right size for a Molten handball
Here you will find handballs in various sizes, weights and materials, suitable for all ages and levels. Available sizes are 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3.
On this page, you can learn which size fits each age category and why correct sizing matters. You will also understand why Molten is a recognised leader in the production of balls for handball, basketball, football and volleyball.
Which handball size should you choose?
The ball should fit well in the hand to ensure proper grip and effective throws. That is why we included a size table with age recommendations. For very young children we recommend foam or squeezy balls, and from U6–8 upwards synthetic-leather models are suitable.
