The Molten B7G4050 basketball is part of the BG4050 series, the new generation of Molten indoor basketballs developed as an evolution of the BG4000 model. This ball is FIBA Approved for official competitions during the 2023–2027 cycle and is used in Romania as the official game ball in competitions organized by the Romanian Basketball Federation.

The ball is made from premium microfiber composite leather, featuring a classic textured surface that provides excellent grip and precise ball control. The pebble surface and deep channels allow a secure hold and accurate handling during play, even when the ball comes into contact with sweat or moisture.

The laminated multi-layer construction with 12 panels ensures durability, stability and a natural feel during dribbling. The single cushioning layer improves ball control and provides a softer touch when catching or dribbling. The butyl bladder reinforced with a nylon layer helps maintain air pressure over long periods of use.

The distinctive Molten two-tone design, developed with the GIUGIARO® concept, improves ball visibility during play. The strong color contrast helps players track the ball more easily during fast game situations.

Molten has been the official FIBA global partner and supplier of game balls since 1982. The BG4050 series continues this tradition, offering a reliable competition basketball suitable for both official games and indoor training.

The B7G4050 is the official size for men’s basketball and is used in senior and U20–U16 competitions.
